PDR Tools and Accessories used for pushing dents
‘Pushing dents’ out of vehicles is slang for PDR which is short for Paintless Dent Repair or Paintless Dent Removal. Pushing dents is when a highly trained technician uses steel rods and other PDR Leverage Tools to manually push the dented metal back into place. This requires many precise pushes to move the metal just enough that the dent slowly comes out without moving the metal too fast which could damage the paint.
PDR Rods are typically steel or carbon fiber and usually range from 2 feet long to up to 10 feet long. These rods are used to deliver high pressure to the special PDR Tips which are used to reshape the metal back to pre-dented condition. Brace tools, whale tails, shaved tool sets and others are used to push dents.
Lighting and knockdowns are also critical components of pushing dents and you will find a lot of those here as well.
